  • Traffic Flow

    Traffic Flow

Please read this information and follow the procedures to maintain the highest level of safety for our students. All parents, students, caregivers, and staff, must follow the basic parking/drop-off zones indicated by signs around the school and adhere to city Bylaws to ensure all of our children’s safety.

Click on the link below to see a step by step guide on our traffic flow.

    https://epsb.maps.arcgis.com/apps/MapJournal/index.html?appid=77737eecc15a48acabde356c54b421f2

    General Information:

Our staff parking is not a safe place to drive or stop.  Staff pay for their own parking stalls at the school.  Please do not park in Staff Parking (indicated in Red on the map below) even if a stall is open.

    Exiting the School:

If making a left turn to head southbound on Windermere Road, stay to the left, and if making a right turn to head northbound on Windermere Road, stay to the right.

We encourage everyone exiting the school to turn right onto Windermere Road. Turning left creates a significant amount of traffic in the school parking lot when busy.

    Tips:

Families living in the community are strongly encouraged to walk, bike or carpool to school.

Our hug and go area in the morning is only to stop and drop off children, not for parking.  If you wish to park, please use visitor parking or street parking.

Make a plan with your child for drop-off and pick-up. If you’re picking them up in the Hug & Go lane, and you can’t find a spot, they need to know that you’ll loop around or meet them on the sidewalk.

Please refer to the "traffic map" below.

  • School Philosophy

    School Philosophy

Constable Daniel Woodall believed in the power of hard work, reaching for one’s dreams and being an active citizen within his community.  His willingness to take on any challenge and contribute in any and every way that he could in whatever he was doing brought honour to his work as a police officer and to his family. We are very proud to continue his legacy and are committed to creating a school community that embodies these values and characteristics.

We support all of our students in a healthy, safe and caring environment that Constable Daniel Woodall would be proud of.  Our focus on leadership, service and well being will instill the lifelong values our students will depend upon to be successful global citizens.  In this positive learning environment where a culture of high expectations, leadership & kindness are our foundation, everyone will have the confidence to challenge themselves to be the best that they can be.
