Kindergarten Registration & Open House Information for 2023-2024
Kindergarten registration for September 2023 starts on February 1st, 2023. Children who are five years old on or before December 31, 2023 may register in Kindergarten for the 2023-24 school year. (see above details on how to register).
Constable Daniel Woodall School is a closed boundary school, (see 'closed boundary' message below) which means we will NOT be hosting an open house this year. We will, however, connect with all of our registered kinder parents to let them know when our "Welcome to Kinder" night will be.
Full in Planned Classrooms 2022-2023
Constable Daniel Woodall School is full in planned classes in Kindergarten to Grade 6 in the Regular Program for the 2022/2023 school year. A Kindergarten student who is a resident and lives in the school's attendance area may still register. For Grades 1 to 6, we will now only accept resident students who newly move into the school’s attendance area. A resident student of Edmonton Public Schools has at least one parent or legal guardian living in Edmonton who is not Roman Catholic. Non-resident students can enrol in another Division school with space in planned classes.
Closed Boundary School
Constable Daniel Woodall School is a closed boundary school. As outlined in Division regulations, the only new students accepted to our school during pre-enrolment are:
- Resident students who live within the attendance area.
- Siblings of current students who will be returning to the school the following year.
If the student you are registering or pre-enrolling meets one of these criteria for the 2023-2024 school year, please register them online as per above instructions (new students) or pre enrol through SchoolZone (existing Edmonton Public students).
Following the close of pre-enrolment at 4pm on April 14, 2023, the school will only accept resident students who have newly moved into the attendance area or resident students eligible for Kindergarten.
