Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year!
We are thrilled to welcome new and returning students and their families to Constable Daniel Woodall School (CDW), where our community leads with Kind Hearts, Fierce Minds, and Brave Spirits!
We believe that educating our students is a collective responsibility shared by families, school staff, and the greater community. Through this collaborative approach, we strive to maximize every student's potential and provide a supportive learning environment with high academic and behavioral expectations.
As I join the CDW community, my leadership is grounded in a simple principle: decisions must always be in the best interest of the students. I deeply believe that all students are capable of learning and are our greatest resource. Central to this vision is the importance of building authentic relationships among students, staff, and families. I am excited to bring these beliefs to CDW and to work alongside you all.
Because open communication is essential to strong working relationships, we will share most updates and information through SchoolZone. We ask that students, parents, and guardians check it regularly. I also invite you to stop by the school to introduce yourself! Your questions, feedback, and observations are always appreciated, so please feel free to connect with us by phone, email, or in person.

Treaty Land Acknowledgement
As members of the Constable Daniel Woodall Elementary School Community, we are filled with gratitude as we honour Treaty 6 Territory, a traditional meeting grounds, gathering place and travelling route to the Cree, Saulteaux, Blackfoot, Metis, Dene, Nakota Sioux, along with the many other First Nations and Inuit that are a part of our Canadian culture.
Our inherent responsibility to safeguard and preserve the Earth stems from the First Nations’ relationship to the land. Today, and all days, we acknowledge our shared history and the work we must do collectively to make the future a better place for all in our journey of reconciliation.
